The Radio Dept. are one of those bands that seem to be a myth from here in the states. They rarely tour, have a small but dedicated following, and every few years they seem to come out of hiding to share some new songs; and so it goes for their third full length record, Clinging to a Scheme. The Radio Dept. have re-emerged to share 10 more perfectly crafted dreamy-pop songs for those that have a predilection for that type of music.
Clinging to a Scheme breezes through your mind and gets stuck there like a memory. The Radio Dept. are steadfastly dedicated to developing their craft, and are adept at finding new ways to sound the same, which is another way to say: they are developing their sound without abandoning their strengths.
